Opportunities in Office Printing

Electrophotographic (EP) technology has set the printing benchmark within the office; users are accustomed to a very high print performance via their laser copiers and printers. Inkjet technology, albeit more cost effective, has traditionally been challenged in this area.

Key challenges for an inkjet ink formulator:

• Laser quality black text with a high optical density.
• Bright vivid colors.
• Excellent durability, in terms of wet/dry rub and highlighter resistance for both black and color inkjet inks.
• Excellent print performance on a wide variety of paper stock.
• Reliability and consistency in terms of output and operation.

CAB-O-JET® aqueous pigment dispersions are targeted at meeting current and emerging needs of inkjet office printing.  We are focused on providing dispersions that enable the inkjet ink formulator to develop an ink that addresses the challenges of this segment and rivals that of EP technology.
